In a swift action, Medivala police officers smashed a brick with a brick on Friday night and arrested a 26-year-old private bank loan agent for allegedly murdering his neighbors and friends.
The deceased was identified as Martin Simon, 28, an IT company employee who lives on the second floor of Venkateshwara layout, while the defendant’s baby Raj lives underground in the same building.
According to police, the two were friends and drinking partners and used to have parties on the terrace frequently. On Friday night, the two drank as usual and argued about the drink. In the melee baby, Raj allegedly smashed Simon’s head with cement bricks and fled the scene.
Few residents saw the baby Raj running away after a commotion, then checked the terrace and found Martin dead in the pool of blood and immediately reminded the police.
According to the complaint, Medivala police registered the murder within hours of the crime and tracked the baby Raj. Although baby Raj reportedly admitted that he killed Martin Simon on a row of trivia, such as buying more alcohol, police are investigating further to determine if there are other motives.
