Red Alert Statement “Sindoor Action” after Up: DGP Prashant Kumar

Uttar Pradesh (Uttar Pradesh) announced on Wednesday (7 May 2025) that a red alarm was announced in light of actions taken by Indian troops against the terrorist hiding place under Operation Sindor.

A statement issued by Director General of UP Police (DGP) has directed all field structures of Uttar Pradesh police to coordinate with the Defence Force and to strengthen the security of important facilities.

In retaliation for the Pahalgam terrorist attack, Indian armed forces conducted strikes earlier on Wednesday over nine terrorist targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, including Jaish-e-Mohammad stronthold in Bahawalpur, and Muridke, the base in Lashkar-eee-Taiba.

Up DGP Prashant Kumar said from his “X” handle: “In view of the actions taken by the Indian army against the terror hiding place under #OperationsIndoor, a red alarm was announced in Uttar Pradesh.

He added: “UP police are on guard, equipped with resources and are ready to ensure the safety of every citizen in the state. Jai Hind!.”
