Digital restructuring will be the second land reform in the state: Minister K. Rajan

Tax Secretary K. Rajan launched the third phase of the Digital Land Resurvey project in the Thrissur district on Saturday.

“The state’s digital reinvesting process is moving forward at an unprecedented rate. As Kerala’s second major land reform, this reinvesting will be historically reduced,” he said, noting that cutting-edge technologies, including the Geological Survey, were used to accurately map land records.

He noted that the survey had covered 200 villages in the first phase and 238 villages in the second phase. The third phase currently underway includes another 200 villages.

The minister also opened a digital land Resurvey Camp office in Pananchery Village. The project marks another milestone in the state’s move towards a fully digital land record system.
