Hyderabad: Malkajgiri BJP MP Etala Rajendar demands unconditional release of all part-time lecturers working at 12 state universities Chalo Secretariat Protests Thursday. Instructors are seeking to address their long-standing requirements, including minimum wage structure and job security.
In a statement, Rajendar urged the government to formalize its services and give them appropriate weight when recruiting assistant professors. He expanded his support for incitement to lecturers, calling on the government to consider their teaching experience and prioritize candidates in the formalization process by UGC-NET and PhD. Currently, there are about 1,270 contract lecturers in Telangana.
