Relaxed age restrictions for aspirants taking the DSC exam: AP Nirudyoga JAC

Visakhapatnam: Members of AP Nirudyoga JAC, an organization representing unemployed youth, petitioned state education minister Nara Lokesh, who urged him to relax the aspiring age of taking the DSC exam.

Members noted in the petition that the government failed to perform DSC exams in the past seven years, which led to aspiring people exceeding the age limit and thus losing eligibility criteria. Therefore, as a solution, they urged the state education minister to relax the candidate’s age within a five-year term, which is beneficial for existing and newly qualified TET candidates.

JAC expresses its gratitude to the 16,347 DSC for its work notice. The announcement sparked aspiring hopes across the state, considering the old deadline for July 1, 2024. However, the JAC has made recommendations to ensure fairness and transparency when conducting inspections. The organization said the DSC exam should be a one-day event across the state, providing equal opportunities for all candidates. In addition, JAC members also urged the government to arrange 30 days of examinations to allow candidates to have sufficient preparation time.

AP Nirudyoga Jac President S Hemantha Kumar also begged Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan for the DSC exam.
