Reporter manipulated in Thiruvananthapuram – Hindu

Kerala Working Journalists Union (KUWJ) Thiruvananthapuram District Council called for a strong legal action against rickshaw drivers, allegedly attacking journalists on Friday

Deshabhimani Photographer Arun Raj and journalist Aswathy T. Kurup were allegedly attacked at a bakery. This incident was reportedly happening when the car rickshaw approached the motorcycle.

After the attack, two reporters sought medical treatment in the hospital. Kuwj urged the Automobile Rickshaw Workers Union to take action, including expelling members involved in the violence. The union also requires police to take strict legal action against those responsible for the attack.

City police have begun investigating the incident.
