There is no difference between them. and BRS about the environment: Raghunanandan Rao

Hyderabad

BJP MP M. Raghunanandan Rao said there was no difference between Congress and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS).

He claimed to have done enough damage to green cover during the previous BRS regime, and he questioned partisan MLA KT Rama Rao’s position on environmental protection.

He noted at a press conference held in the State BJP’s office on Saturday that the BRS government attempted to snap up the 111 (GO banned the development or construction of the catchment area of the two main lakes of Hyderabad Osmansagar and Himayatsagar until the radius of 10 km) and turned it into debris on acres of land. “Why don’t KTR remember environmental protection during the 10 years of BRS rule?”

He condemned the Congressional administration’s attempt to “destroy” 400 acres of land in Kancha Gachibowli, and he said the BJP has opposed such “bulldozer use” from the very beginning. “The BJP has filed complaints with trade union ministers Dharmendra Pradhan and Bhupender Yadav,” he said.

He slammed KTR for his recent comments on the Kancha Gachibowli issue, accusing the BRS leaders of trying to mislead the public by claiming that the BJP MP plays a role in the issue.

He also accused KTR and his relatives of building farmhouses by violating Go 111. “Does KTR’s farmhouse fall into the scope of Go Go 111? Are Harish Rao and Kavitha belong to the same GO restrictions in farm houses in the area? These issues should be made public,” he said. He tried to know of the permits for a 50-storey building around Ring Road under the Strategic Road Development Project (SRDP).

Mr Raghunanandan Rao also warned KTR not to spread lies about Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
