adirabad: Residents of the Jubilee Mountain Colony (Sectar 12) held a protest in the municipal office on Friday against the installation of a cell phone tower in the middle of the colonial town of Adilabad. They carried placards and raised their slogans.
Women and children urge authorities to refuse permission to install cell phone towers in their local area.
Colonial members expressed concern that signals in the cell phone towers would release radiation and cause health problems for people.
