Holy and Demons – Hinduism

Lord Krishna told Ajuna that there are two types of creatures in this world: sacred and demonic. Chapter 16 Bhagavad Gita Discuss the properties of both. Valayapettai Sri. Ramachariar describes the different characteristics of the two groups in his discourse. Some of God’s characteristics are the purity of thought, dedication, worship, alms, self-control and duty. They studied the Vedas and abstained from harming others. They insist on simplicity, speak the truth, do not develop anger, do not insult others, practice giving up and calmness, show mercy to everyone, avoid swaying, and get rid of the development of desire. Similarly, the purity of thought, patience and endurance exists. They won’t be afraid because they won’t be associated with objects of disgust.
Some qualities of demonic existence are ivory, arrogance, modesty and rudeness. They do not know about giving up, proper behavior or truth. They are addicted to cruel acts to destroy the world. Their highest goal is to enjoy worldly pleasures. They are full of pride and will unfairly accumulate wealth. They are bewildered by ignorance and are intoxicated by wealth, pride, and vanity.
Lord Krishna said that desire, anger and greed are the triple gateways to hell and destruction. One should give up on these. The main reason for this dissipation is the lack of belief in Sastras – the authority to decide what measures should be taken and what should not be done (Tasmat Sastram Pramanam Tey Chapter 16 Sloka 24.)
The divine are on the road to liberation, while the demon suffers from repeated births and deaths.
