The BJP takes the traitor Jibe in Rahul

New Delhi: The BJP on Monday called Rahul Gandhi a “traitor” who was alleged to the Election Commission’s remarks and accused him of being frustrated by the law enforcement agency’s actions in the polling agency’s National Pioneer case.

Gandhi, who is visiting the United States, reportedly questioned the victory of the BJP-led coalition in the Maharashtra Parliamentary Poll and claimed that the Indian Election Commission was damaged.

Congress did not immediately respond to the BJP’s allegations.

BJP State spokesman Sambit Patra made a sensation to Gandhi’s speech, “You are venting anger at the Election Commission by the Enforcement Bureau (the action in the National Herald).

He said at a press conference here at the BJP headquarters: “The emergency room won’t work for your facts and the National Herald is an open and closed case. You won’t be spared.”

He asserted that both Rahul Gandhi and his mother, Sonia Gandhi, would be involved in the case.

“You are a traitor, not only because you insulted Indian institutions and Indian democracy in foreign soil, but also because you and your mother misappropriated the country’s rupees in the National Herald case. You and your mother will not be able to get rid of this.”

ED recently filed a charge against Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi and others in the National Herald case against them alleged that they had washed Rs 988 crore.

The April 9 complaint filed a lawsuit under various parts of the Money Laundering Act (PMLA), named former Congress President Sonia Gandhi, as defendant No. 1, her son and MP Rahul Gandhi, who is also the opposition leader of Lok Sabha, was charged with No. 2.
