Anurag shared that after doing Imaikkaa Nodigal, he rejected offers for some Southern movies. But in the post-production phase of his film Kennedy, things changed, starring Sunny Leone and Rahul Bhat. During that time, he had been meeting Vijay Sethupathi at his neighbor’s home.
Vijay mentioned the script they tried to reach Anurag. At first, Anug said no, but later changed his mind. He explained: “Vijay helped me discover something new to Kennedy. As a small gesture, I included a card in the movie that thanked him.”
