Puthiya Tamilagam slams ‘deceptive’ ads, including Nainar Nagenthran as a supporter of Devendrakula Vellalar

Surprisingly, Puthiya Tamilagam, founded by Dr. K. Krishnasamy, warned the “fake association”, disguised as a representative of the Devendrakula Vellalar community, from posting ads, from recently appointed BJP state president Naganar Nagenthran about the DeSendrakula Vellare Assive intermand of DeSendrakula vellare the Devellal intermander ground.
The party’s high committee said in a statement that for more than 30 years, the party has been raising its voice to recognize the seven sub-departments of the community as an entity, under the unified name Devendrakula Vellalar and to set it apart from the SC category.
“We held a meeting in Chennai in 2017, held a rally in Delhi, in 2018 at Virudhunagar and Tiruchi, in 2019, in village leaders of the villagers submitted a large petition with village leaders in Tamil Nadu in 2021, and announced protests in 2021, amid a few general elections,” the statement said.
The statement further said that the issue could be easily addressed by passing a bill to differentiate the community from the SC list to name the seven communities Devendrakula Vellalar.
The party further said: “Those who have not passed the extraordinary bill in parliament now pretend they will solve it by speaking in the state parliament? It’s a calculation scam, a self-promotional deception that the community must reject it altogether.”
