RSS announced on Wednesday that it will celebrate its centenary by organizing several events for 12 months (from Vijayadasami Day 2025).
RSS Outreach Secretary B. Prakash told reporters at the organization’s Chetpet headquarters that it plans to complete five events before 2025 Vijayadasami Day and 2026 Vijayadasami Day.
“United RSS workers will hold rally or public meetings throughout India, including Tamil Nadu, on Vijayadasami Day. In addition, between three weeks between November and December, RSS volunteers will be in touch with each Basti and Mandal and share 100 years of news with them. Each Basti by February next year will be held. Samajik Sathbhav…” He said.
Mr Prakash further said: “A state-level conference for youth – college students and IT professionals – will be held to promote patriotism, good values and habits and to learn about the work RSS does and enable them to join Sangh.”
Mr. Prakash said RSS and Sangh Parivar workers will receive five types of transformation – social harmony training; proudly talk about family, ancestors and family gods; protect the environment; speak in their native language; promote traditional Indian clothing and culture; and the duties of citizens.
