Indian Test Cricket Captain Rohit Sharma announced on Wednesday that he would retire from the format, effective immediately. He made the announcement on Instagram. It's also reported that Sharma recently won a two-year White Ball ICC Championship for a year and he could be fired by the BCCI selector. He said in his Instagram story: “Hello everyone, I want to share that I am going to retire from Test cricket. It is an absolute honor to represent my country as a white man. Thank you for all your love and support over the years. I will continue to represent India in the form of ODI,” he said in his Instagram story. The 38-year-old is resurrected in the second half of his exam career. Since his debut in 2013, he has scored 4,301 games in 67 Tests, an average of 40.57 and an average of 40.57.
