Principal suspended for suspected leak

The president of a university was suspended after alleging that the BCA (Second Sixth Semester) leaked on the college’s Palakunnu campus.

After the Bekal police registration case and the findings of the Kanndicate subcommittee, university administrators took a lawsuit against P. Ajeesh, which concluded that the case directly involved the case.

Management said it would cooperate fully with the ongoing investigation when it announced the suspension on Sunday (April 20). “We are committed to transparency and accountability,” the college’s official statement said.

Sources said the password to access the test papers (email sent by the university two hours before the exam) was shared with the institution one hour in advance. They said the principal accessed the question paper using a password and then forwarded some of the questions to the student’s WhatsApp group.

The University Group Subcommittee, which inspected the matter, concluded that the president violated the agreement and leaked the problem.

The principal earlier denied the allegations, saying: “The teacher only shared previous years’ papers and possible issues with students. The issues this year may overlap by coincidence.”
