“Concentrate on solving their own security issues”: Taliban rejects Pakistan’s claim on Afghanistan and Jafars Express hijacking | World News

The Taliban government on Thursday rejected Pakistan’s claim that Afghan militants were hijacking the Jafar Express train in Bal Luchistan. The Taliban clarification comes after reports of reports of terrorist leaders accusing Islamabad of planning the attack in Afghanistan. To support its claims, Pakistan cites intelligence reports that identify direct communication between these leaders and attackers.
Abdul Qahar Balkhi, spokesman for the Afghan Foreign Ministry, rejected Pakistan’s claim, saying Islamabad should focus on solving its own security and internal problems rather than such irresponsible remarks.
“We explicitly rejected the baseless allegations of a Pakistani Army spokesman, which linked a bus attack on Bal Luchistan Province to Afghanistan and urged the Pakistani side to focus on solving its own security and internal issues rather than such irresponsible remarks,” he said.

Militants attacked the Jafars Express on Tuesday. The train carrying 440 passengers is traveling from Quetta to Peshawar. The attackers derailed with explosives near Gudalal and Piru Kunri, about 160 kilometers from Quetta.
Meanwhile, a Pakistan Army spokesman said on Wednesday that the operation to rescue hostages from trains hijacked by Baloch rebels killed all the killings of 33 militants involved. The spokesman also said that during the operation, 21 passengers and 4 Pakistani soldiers were killed. “The armed forces successfully concluded the operation on Wednesday night, killing all terrorists and safely rescuing all passengers,” said Lieutenant Ahmed Sharif Choudhury.
Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited Balochistan on Thursday to examine the security after the hijacking of Jaffar Express and to express solidarity with locals. The attack killed 21 civilians and four soldiers. His visit comes the day after security forces killed all 33 Bal Luzhi People’s Liberation Army (BLA) militants who hijacked the train on Tuesday.
