The controversy arose after submitting FIR to Apoorva Makhija, YouTubers Ashish Chanchlani, Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Raina and others earlier this month. FIR is based on allegations that promote obscene and sexually explicit discussions on publicly accessible YouTube shows.

United Police Chief Ankur Jain said several people who have been nominated in the FIR have been notified, including Ranveer Allahabadia, Samay Raina, Apoorva Mukhija and Jaspreet Singh. Jain said in his speech by Ahish Chanchalani, “A name Ashish Chanchalani came to the crime department and we recorded his statement… We allowed him to go when we cooperate with us… He told us that he would be in front of us when we need it…” He has not investigated the matter under legal proceedings and we will take action…” he further said. Earlier, Ashish Chanchlani and Ranveer Allahbadia approached Maharashtra’s network cells recorded their statements on the matter.
