SC Collegium proposes appointment of Justice Arun Palli as Chief Justice of J&K and Ladakh HC

The Supreme Court Academy proposes to appoint Punjab and Haryana High Court Judge Arun Palli as Chief Justice of the High Court in Jamu & Kashmir and Ladakh.

The university was led by Chief Justice Sanjiv Khanna, India, and held its meeting on April 4.

“At the meeting held on April 4, 2025, the Supreme Court proposed the appointment of Judge Arun Pali, the High Court judge of Punjab and Haryana, as Chief Justice of Jamu & Kashmir High Court and Ladakh,” said a statement uploaded by the APEX Court website.

Judge Pali was born on September 18, 1964 and was promoted to the bench of the High Courts of Punjab and Haryana on December 28, 2013. He was appointed as the senior defense attorney on April 26, 2007.
