As the Gaza crisis deepens, IDF strikes key commander Hamas | World News

Tel Aviv: The IDF announced a targeted strike against Hamas agents in the Gashanasel Hospital compound.

“The main Hamas terrorists operating inside the Gazanacer Hospital were attacked accurately. The strike was carried out after a wide range of intelligence processes and precise ammunition to mitigate harm to the surrounding environment,” the IDF said in an article on X.

The military accused Hamas of using civilian sites as cover and said: “Hamas used civilian infrastructure while cruelly endangering the population of Gaza – using active hospitals as shelter for planning and carrying out murder terrorist attacks in direct violations of international law.”

The IDF confirmed separately that the two main Hamas commanders were killed, writing: “Extinguished: Deputy Commander of Hamas Gaza Brigade and Commander of Hamas “Shejaiya Battalion”.

The IDF identified them as Ahmad Salman, “responsible for the operation, planning Hamas’ offensive strategy and building the brigade’s strength, preparing for the brutal massacre of October 7, and Jamil Omar Jamil Jamil Wadiya, “responsible for the opposition to the IDF’s forces and operations in exchange for the actions of Batteriel and Reor. 16-year-old Viflic was murdered. ”
