Tel Aviv: The IDF announced a targeted strike against Hamas agents in the Gashanasel Hospital compound.
“The main Hamas terrorists operating inside the Gazanacer Hospital were attacked accurately. The strike was carried out after a wide range of intelligence processes and precise ammunition to mitigate harm to the surrounding environment,” the IDF said in an article on X.
The military accused Hamas of using civilian sites as cover and said: “Hamas used civilian infrastructure while cruelly endangering the population of Gaza – using active hospitals as shelter for planning and carrying out murder terrorist attacks in direct violations of international law.”
The IDF confirmed separately that the two main Hamas commanders were killed, writing: “Extinguished: Deputy Commander of Hamas Gaza Brigade and Commander of Hamas “Shejaiya Battalion”.
The IDF identified them as Ahmad Salman, “responsible for the operation, planning Hamas’ offensive strategy and building the brigade’s strength, preparing for the brutal massacre of October 7, and Jamil Omar Jamil Jamil Wadiya, “responsible for the opposition to the IDF’s forces and operations in exchange for the actions of Batteriel and Reor. 16-year-old Viflic was murdered. ”
Earlier today, U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff blamed Hamas for his re-fight, rejecting the claim that Israel’s derailment ceasefire efforts. As Al Jazeera reported, he told Fox News: “So it’s on Hamas. He said Hamas rejected a bridge proposal aimed at extending the truce to April.
“Hamas is the invader here,” Hamas replied, “We have responded positively to all the efforts we have made. Netanyahu has backed off the agreement. Netanyahu turned a blind eye to it. So it is Netanyahu, not Hamas or resistance, and should be forced to comply.”
Meanwhile, Israel’s air and ground operations continued in Beit Hanoun and Rafah, with Lebanon’s air strikes targeting Hezbollah. The humanitarian crisis in Gaza has deepened, and the official United Nations Philippe Lazzarini warned: “There is no entry into important humanitarian aid, including food, every day, including the Gaza Strip, bringing the surrounded territory to the vicinity of the acute hunger crisis.”
The Gaza Ministry of Health reported 50,021 deaths and 113,274 injuries. The Gaza government media office will make the loss more than 61,700. In Israel, 1,139 people were killed in the October 7 attacks, of which more than 200 were captured.
