Scam of man trying to get arrested while trying to escape to Sri Lanka

A 37-year-old man from Kancheepuram district, wanted in several job fraud cases in Tamil Nadu, was arrested by customs officials at the port of Nagapatinam, allegedly trying to flee to Sri Lanka by sea ferry.

Police have searched Kirubakaran. He was found at the port of Nagapatinam on Sunday during a security check and tried to leave the ferry to Sri Lanka. Customs officials detained him and handed him over to the Nagapatinam Town Police Department, who later transferred him to the district crime department for investigation.
