The second edition of the Future War Course is scheduled to take place from April 21 to May 9, focusing on how developing technologies affect war, requiring a comprehensive understanding of military concepts, doctrines, strategies, strategies, strategies, techniques, and procedures (TTP).

Officials noted that the course was conducted under the Aegis of Headquarters Integrated Defense Personnel (HQ ID) and maintained an imbalanced approach with enhanced and diverse participation.

“The second edition continues to make the greater mission of the Indian Armed Forces ‘future’, fostering union and integration among services and developing strategic leaders who are able to drive the increasingly complex strategic areas of modern warfare,” a defense official said. He said the expanded three-week plan is based on the success of the inaugural course held in September 2024 and follows the vision of the National Defense Staff (CDS) Anil Chauhan generation to prepare officials for contemporary health aircraft challenges.

Participants in this course range from major general rankings and their equivalents to the Navy and Air Force. Representatives from the National Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), National Defense Public Sector Enterprise (DPSUS), Micro and Medium Enterprises (MSMES), Defense Startups and Private Enterprises will also participate.

Officials say the version of the course is enhanced, covering professional topics and areas of war development. The curriculum structure will provide a deeper exploration of critical topics, including a practical demonstration of emerging technologies and incorporating access to institutions that are critical to the capabilities of the armed forces.

The official added that the course aims to align operational priorities with the capabilities of the Indigenous Defense Industry and facilitate open discussions on all aspects of modern and future warfare.
