Congress betrays Ambedka’s ideal: Kishan Reddy

Hyderabad: Telangana BJP President and Trade Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy called for the ideal of Congress on how he betrayed Dr. BR Ambedkar’s ideal and violated democratic norms over the past 75 years. In front of the Union’s Minister of State for Interior Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, in the celebration of Dr. BR Ambedkar Jayanti, BJP OBC MORCHA National President Dr. K. Laxman, Party organization In Chandrase Chandrasekhar and others Kishan Reddy accused Congress of claiming Ambedkar’s resignation as Ambedkar. He claimed that when Ambedkar died, Congress denied his final ritual in Delhi (which stretched all the way to the national leaders) and forced his family to bring his body to Mumbai.
“From the beginning, Congress has opposed the reservation. Jawaharlal Nehru even wrote to some states, suggesting not to implement its implementation,” Kishan Reddy said. “In contrast, the BJP government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi has adopted several initiatives to uphold Ambedkar’s vision,” he said.
Earlier, Kishan Reddy led a bicycle rally from the BJP office to the free bike rally and won the statue of Ambedkar. Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar criticized the Congressional government’s decision to celebrate Ambedkar Jayanti as a festival, calling it hypocritical. “It’s like the murderer who held a mourning ceremony,” he said. “The Congress humiliated Ambedka at every step, plotting against him, defeating him twice. They even denied his Bharat Ratna, but gave him Padma Bhushan, the man who defeated him.
He said Ambedkar strengthened the ideological legacy of leaders such as Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya. He added: “Ambedkar opposes the division of the country and grants Jamu and Kashmir special status.”
Dr. K. Laxman said Congress has always ignored the welfare of backward classes. He noted that Nehru ignored the report of Kaka Kalelkar committee and did not even check it. During her tenure as prime minister, Indira Gandhi ignored the recommendations of the Mandal Commission. “When Vice President VP Singh carried out Mandal’s report, then opposition leader Rajiv Gandhi opposed it,” Laxman said.
He also criticized the Congressional government in Telangana, which allegedly included 10% of Muslims. “Although the actual number is 51%, their population shows 45%. In another incident, Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya, along with other BJP leaders, unveiled a new statue of Dr. Br Ambedkar and Jagjivan Ram in the Kavadiguda division of Gandhi Nagar.
