Nellol: Somisetti Madhusudhan Rao, a native of Kavalli town in Nellore district, was one of the people killed in the Pahalgam terrorist attack in Jamu & Kashmir during a family vacation.
Madhusudhan Rao, a senior architect at IBM Software in Bangalore, traveled to Jamu with his wife Kamakshi, daughter Medhashree, son Mukund Sreedatta, and family friends Nagendra and Jyotsna. Mukund has just been promoted to Level VIII and Medha is pursuing intermediate level.
The deadly attack occurred while Madhusudhan and Kamakshi were photographed.
Relatives say the terrorists confirmed his religious beliefs in the religion of shooting him, even as Kamakshi begged them to leave him alone. Their children and family and friends were sitting in the distance at the time of the shooting. After hearing the gunshots, they fled from the panic.
Madhusudhan is from Annala Vari Veedhi of Cavalli and is the son of Somishetti Tirupalu and Padma. The family entered the banana trade. Madhusudhan settled in Bangalore with his family due to work.
Because his parents are vulnerable to heart disease, the family retains tragic news secrets. Relatives told them that Madhusudhan was injured in a road accident and he was undergoing treatment to relieve the emotional blow.
Today’s special flight will take the body to Chennai and will arrive in Kavalli after midnight. The incident casts a state of melancholy in Kavali Town where locals mourn promising professionals.
