SC’s bench has some working days

New Delhi: The Supreme Court has issued a notice on the bench that will play a role during the upcoming summer vacation, renamed to “working days for some courts” from May 26 to July 13. There will be two to five benches sitting, including even the Chief Justice of India BR Gavai, which will also be Holdi Courts. Earlier, there were only two holiday seats during the summer vacation, and the senior judge should not have held the court.

The notice outlines the weekly assignment of justices across the bench. From May 26 to June 1, CJI, Justice Suryakant, Vikram Nath JK Maheshwari and BV Nagarathna will lead five benches respectively. During this period, the Apex Court Registration will be open for all officials and staff from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The registration form will be closed on all Saturdays (except July 12), Sundays and public holidays.
