Senior CPI (M) leader from Khammam passed away

Yerra Srikanth, a member of the CPI (M) State Council of Khammam Town, died on Sunday (6 April 2025) in Madurai City, Tamil Nadu. He is 62 years old.

According to party sources, he went to Madurai to attend 24Th CPI Congress (M). He suffered from a serious heart attack and was taken to a hospital in Madurai where he died while under treatment.

Party Central Committee member Tammineni Veerabhadram, Telangana State Committee Secretary John Wesley and others paid tribute to the late leaders of the late Madurai Hospital on the afternoon of Sunday (April 6, 2025).

The party leaders called him the champion of working class rights and hard-working masses.
