Dy CM promises to insist on evacuation of Janivara for strict actions against guilt

Belthangady: Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on Sunday guaranteed strict action, amid reportedly forced removal of students (the sacred topic), said the government was committed to taking action against anyone convicted of, no matter who they are.

“The government will not interfere with the issue of religious practice. Our government is committed to maintaining every religion. No one needs to worry. Our government will work hard to take everyone away,” he said during the new building of Vokkaliga Seva Seva Sangha and Vani Education in Belthangady.

“People should not worry. Our government is inclusive and aims to take everyone. Every religion preaches the same essence – speech, beliefs and values. We were born in castes and religions without choice, despite our words, our birth and death often reminded us of them.”

Shivakumar also spoke of criticisms against him and his administration, saying: “Let people criticize. This gives us a chance to correct ourselves. Criticism disappears, but our work remains. We can improve only when we identify our flaws.”

Shivakumar calls on the public and urges people to provide support to mathematics (religious monasteries) and educational institutions. “The temples, schools and spiritual centers are the souls of our culture. Just as we protect houses, we must protect these institutions,” he said.
