Seven ALC students receive internships at Prime Minister’s Institution

The Andhra Loyola College (ALC) congratulates seven students on their internships at major scientific institutions in the country.

K. Mouna Rahini, a second-year bachelor’s degree chemistry student, has been selected for the Indian Academy of Sciences Summer Research Scholarship Program (SRFP) and will conduct a two-month internship at the Indian Academy of Sciences (IISC) in Bangalore. Md. Ismail, also from B.Sc. Second Year has provided an internship under the same program and will be conducted at the Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC) in Mumbai. Both students will receive a scholarship of Rs 25,000.

Research Director Prabhu said five other B.Sc. Currently, the last year students from the Physics and Chemistry combination are undergoing a semester-long internship in IIT. Students – Jerri Bala Murali, S. Jeevana Jyothi, Patan Eesub, Peram Saiprabhas and Boori Sai have been working as research assistants since December 2024 and will complete their internships by June 2025.

In this case, Principal Gap Kishore, Vice-President Prabhudas and others congratulate the students on their achievements.
