Seven attempted murder in Panadu area were found guilty

The Assistant Judges Court of Parnadu District (ASJC-Narasaraopet) sentenced seven people to four years in prison and sentenced them to a fine of Rs 1,000 per person in the Thimmapuram report within the scope of the Edlapadu police station.

Police officer Kanchi Srinivasa Rao said in a press release on Monday (April 21) that all defendants belonging to the same area will face additional jail time.

The sentence was announced by Judge K. Madhu Swami.

The incident occurred on the evening of July 30, 2021, when the water use dispute escalated into a violent attack. Armed with knives, sticks and irons, the criminals attacked Birudu Anantha Rao and complainant Birudu Ravi, who entered the land face to face. Both victims were injured and taken to the Gentur Government Hospital, where the complaint was filed based on the statement of Ravi.

According to the case registered in IPC Sections 323, 324, 307 (read in Section 34), the case was thoroughly investigated by then Deputy Inspector P. Rambabu and Circle Inspector M. Subbarao.

Mr Srinivasa Rao said the criminal was K. Subhani, 21, K. ErraAnjaiah, 53, K. ChinnakotiLingaiah, 29, K. ManiKumar, 20, K. Bujji, 39, K. KotiLingaiah, 38, 38, and K. Hanumantha Rao, K. KotiLingaiah, 38 years old.
