Although the world condemned the inhumane Pahargam terrorist attack, some well-known figures of respect did not resonate with everyone. Shahid Afridi’s offensive comments have aroused the anger of former Pakistani spinner Danish Kaneria, who slammed the extremist views of the former captain. Afridi accused India of the incident.

Kaneria criticized Shahid Afridi’s comments on the Pahargam terrorist attacks, saying the former all-around champion has always expressed extremist views and should not be allowed to make such views anywhere in the world. “He has consistently aligned himself with extreme views. In my opinion, he should not be given a platform on Indian television or within the country. Additionally, he tried to persuade me to convert to Islam and decided to share a meal with me, which I found deeply disrespectful,” said Danish Kaneria after sharing a post in which a social media user has also criticalised Shahid Afridi’s statements on Monday.

The post shared videos of former Pakistani bowlers, some surrounded by some and publicly said they were accused of being forced by Indian armed forces. He said that about an hour of terrorists had been killing people, but not even a soldier from 800,000 force came to rescue and began blaming Pakistan within 10 minutes of arriving there. “They (the Indians) themselves made mistakes first, letting their people be killed, and then blaming Pakistan.” He then continued that Pakistan has been supporting peace and has been trying to establish peaceful relations with India, but on the other hand, India has never tried to reconcile.

“No country or religion supports terrorism. We always support peace. Islam only teaches us peace, and Pakistan never supports this behavior. We have been trying to improve relations with India.”

“We were under a lot of threats before heading to India. During the 2016 T20 World Cup, I was the captain and I don’t know if we would go. Athletic diplomacy is good too. They sent Kabadi here, but they can’t send cricket teams. But if you want to shut it down completely, then let it shut down completely, or let the sports, or let Sport In Sports say.”
