National Congress Party (NCP-SP) supremacy and former Defense Secretary Sharad Pawar criticized the Center for allowing the United States of America (USA) to interfere in the country’s family affairs and requested an explanation for third parties to involve third parties.

Former Chief Minister Pawar raised concerns about third-party intervention in Kashmir affairs, pointing out why the principles of the Shimla agreement were violated during the ceasefire with Pakistan.

“I remember signing the Shimla Agreement so third countries won’t interfere with the issues of both countries. So far, we haven’t allowed anyone to interfere with the issues of both countries. However, this is the first time that US President Donald Trump has discussed our internal issues. In this case, if someone asks for help in the United States, then in the media on Monday, the media will ask for help on Monday.

The Shimla Agreement was a peace treaty signed by former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and Pakistani President Zulfikar Ali Bhutto in 1972.

After the escalation between India and Pakistan, U.S. President Donald Trump’s intervention led to a ceasefire agreement between the two countries. Mr. Trump informed that tensions between the two countries were calmed down through social media, which was not going well with Mr. Paval.

“No special meetings are needed.”

It was a strategic countermeasure to the Pahargham terrorist attack after India launched Operation Sindoor, which was called for a special meeting by the opposition in Maharashtra, and Mr. Pawar disagreed and inferred “the confidentiality of the matter”.

Mr Paval said: “I am not against the meeting, but it is not necessary because the subject is very sensitive; it cannot be discussed publicly. During my tenure as Minister of Defense, only a few people were informed when such incidents occurred. Everyone wants the government to say what at a special meeting.”

He suggested that the opposition and the government should discuss the issue together in the joint meeting, rather than in the special meeting.
