Mumbai: Police said on Saturday that Sai Baba Temple in Shirdi, Maharashtra was threatened by a bomb via an email, but it turned out to be a scam.
The Temple Trust received an email Friday with the sender saying he would blow up the temple with a bomb, and then the police were alerted.
“Santhan (Trust) has its own security personnel. After receiving the email, our staff searched with the police team, but found nothing suspicious,” said Goraksha Gadilkar, CEO of Shri Shirli Shirdi Sai Baba Sansthan.
