Shiv Sena leader Raut Sulls Pawar supports Modi Govt. After Pahalgam attack

Mumbai: Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut on Friday criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for spending hours in Mumbai with Bollywood Stars in Pahalgam. He said India's leadership was hollow and NCP founder Sharad Pawar supported the Modi government after the Pahargam terrorist attack.

On Thursday, the Prime Minister held a global media summit “World Vision and Entertainment Summit” (Waves) in Mumbai. Many celebrities from the Indian film industry, industrialists and representatives of the International Academy participated in the event.

Mr Rat refers to Mumbai's visit to Mumbai, saying: “The whole country has anger after the Pahargam terrorist attack. However, our Prime Minister spent time with Bollywood celebrities in Mumbai. He looked comfortable and had no trace of worry. He could move freely in the country because any good army would happen or any benefit would appear.

The leader of Shiv Sena criticized Mr. Pawar’s statement that he would support the government and that Amit Shah would not need to resign, questioning why union home minister Amit Shah should not be removed after the Pahargam terrorist attack. He reminded him that Mr. Paval was part of the coalition cabinet in 2009, when Shivraj Patil was told to resign after the 26/11 Mumbai terrorist attack.

“Mr. Patil did not do the bomb. But Congress took on moral responsibility. So why doesn't Mr. Shah resign immediately now? Let anyone say they're with the government. But we will never condone the mistakes they've made over the past decade,” Mr. Rat said.

Raut accused the Modi government of playing a political role in the attacks in Pahalgam, saying the opposition would support the government if the opposition waged war with Pakistan. He said that powerful countries take revenge immediately. “We are with the government, but start the war. The government is just doing politics. The Prime Minister goes to Bihar for a political movement within 24 hours. Will Mr. Pawar support it?” he asked.
