A 35-year-old man, Praveen Gowda, was found dead near Anekal, a suburb of Bengaluru. Before his life ended, he shared a disturbing video on Facebook in which he accused several people, including local BJP leaders, of suffering psychological and physical harassment.
Anekal police officers have registered with the FIR and launched an investigation. In the video, the deceased claimed that he had suffered two months of mental torture, known as Kiran Gowda, Harish, Bhaskar Narayanappa, Doddahagade Madhu Gowda and Saravana.
He demanded Mr. Kiran Gowda to be responsible and urged the authorities to take strict action against him.
He also appointed BJP Mandal President Muniraju Gowda, local councillor Bhagyamma and her husband Srinivas, claiming they beat him. He claimed that he was invited to the residence of Mr. Muniraju, which was a discussion of financial disputes.
However, Ms. Bagyama and Mr. Srinivas reportedly summoned other people who beat him for nearly two hours and confiscated his phone number.
