Should be welcome if Raj and Uddhav Thackeray reunite: Supriya Sule

NCP (SP) MP Supriya Sule said on Saturday (April 19, 2025) that if estranged cousins Raj Thackeray and Uddhav Thackeray come together for the benefit of Maharashtra, it should be “welcome with all heart”.
She responded to the possibility of a settlement between her two cousins, triggered by MNS chief Raj Thackeray in an interview and Mr Uddhav’s response to it earlier in the day.
“Raj Thackeray said the dispute in Maharashtra is bigger than theirs. [late Shiv Sena founder] Bal Thackeray was among us and he would be happy today. “Ms. Sule told reporters.
She added: “If the two brothers go to Maharashtra together, we should welcome it with all our hearts.”

The estranged cousin sparked speculation on Saturday that it is possible to reconcile with the statement, suggesting they may ignore “trivial issues” and join hands nearly two decades after a painful way.
