On the Patriots’ day, nearly 32,000 runners will compete in the iconic 2025 Boston Marathon, with the 26.2-mile track from Hopkinton to Boyleston Street becoming increasingly challenging. Participants will include elite athletes and their first show, as well as experienced veterans and recognized celebrity runners.

The race with professional men begins at 9:37 a.m. followed by the professional women’s marathon at 9:45 a.m. The scrolling start of the open runner will begin after 10:00 a.m.

Where is the Boston Marathon held?

The running race begins on the Main Street in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, and then passes through Ashland, Framingham and Newton, who climaxes in Boston on Boyleston Street near Copley Square.
