IAS official Smita Sabharwal raises “freedom of expression” while CM’s CPRO questions “freedom of selectiveness”

Hyderabad
IAS official Smita Sabharwal’s “rebellion” did not take an apology route in her position and shared a post about Kancha Gachibowli Land, which once again brought her into focus.
The government seems to have noticed the Chief Minister’s Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) questioning “diversification of environmental issues during the BRS regime and Congressional administration.” However, the CPRO did not mention the official’s name, but pointed to Ms. Sabharwal.
CM’s CPRO AYODHYA REDDY questioned what he called “changes of views” from IAS officials. He asked, “If there is power to change, can opinions be changed?” Hindu. The reports are related to the 2 million trees allegedly cut by the Karshwaram project.
CPRO further asked: “They (the people who were in charge of the CMO irrigation at the time) were the ones who deforested the forest and hunted wildlife without compulsory cleanup. Now, how do they find the fault? Is this a real cry for wildlife, or is it a person who lost power?” Ms. Sabharwal was the head of the irrigation department when she was at the CMO during the BRS regime.
Meanwhile, Ms Sabawal questioned selective positioning after showing police officers posts related to images generated by AI on Gachibowli land. She posted: “It has been fully collaborated with the Gachibowli Police Department and has been used as a detailed statement for citizens complying with the law under the BNSS Act. The postal service was retried by 2,000 people on the platform.”
“I seek clarification on whether the same action is being initiated against all! If not all, this raises concerns about selective positioning, which in turn harms the #Natural justice and equality of pre-law #Principles.”
Internet split
Her post saw that netizens were completely divided, and some reminded her that she was an IAS official, not an ordinary person who shared images without verification. Some asked her about the “axe” and “axe” of the Karshwaram project questioned her silence.
Some netizens reminded her that the All India Service (AIS) rules require her to share opinions at official meetings rather than on social media. “You are not a private citizen, but a civil servant.” Some people say that when she has facts, she is irresponsible, but still chooses to share fake pictures.
Her sympathizers or those who oppose the use of 400 acres of land for infrastructure support her. They appreciate her “stand up for freedom of speech” while some hope she is more powerful.
