Shubman Gill, Jos Buttler, Prasidh Krishna Star, Gujarat Titans beat Sunrisers Hyderabad with 38 times

Despite being considered one of the pre-season favorites, Hyderabad's Sunrisers are now in the process of eliminating the IPL playoffs.

The Gujarat Giants won the victory in Hyderabad with 38 runs in 51 in the 2025 Indian Premier League matches. The exciting encounter took place on Friday night at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Despite being considered one of the pre-season favorites, Hyderabad's Sunrisers are now in the process of eliminating the IPL playoffs.

Sunrisers Hyderabad began a strong chase, but Gujarat Titans tightened the game after being fired for the fifth time Travis Head. Although the SRH showed a 50-point resilience with Abhishek Sharma on 28 balls, they struggled to keep up with the required run rate set by the GT, which set a goal of 225 runs.

The top three cricketers in Gujarat Titans performed well, while the dispatch errors plagued Sunrisers Hyderabad, adding to their plight. GT managed to post a powerful 224/6 in 20 games, with Jos Buttler having an explosive 64 innings, which is a highlight.

Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan provided a solid start for the Gujarat Titans, setting up 87 opening partnerships in just 41 balls. Despite Sudharsan's sack, Jos Buttler is still accelerating his scoring rate, while Gill has only reached half a century in 25 goals. Sudharsan's departure on his seventh trip to Zeeshan Ansari prevented him from reaching a well-deserved half-century.
