Man dies of rape and murders 5-year-old girl in Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal: A special court sentenced a man to death in a case of kidnapping, rape and murder of a five-year-old girl about seven months ago here.
The court also sentenced his mother and sister to two years in jail for trying to cover up his crime.
Special Court Judge Kumudin Patel issued a verdict in the case, convicting Atul Bhalse in Article 103 (punishment for murder), while 66 (punishment for death or death or persistent plant states during the crime).
According to Special Prosecutor Divya Shukla, the court was also sentenced to life imprisonment by the court under the relevant part of the POCSO (Protecting children from sexual crimes).
The court also sentenced his mother, Basanti and Chanchal’s sister to two years in strict prison to avoid covering him up.
The incident occurred on September 24 last year.
The defendant took the victim to his apartment, raped her here, and then strangled her to death.
The victim’s family filed the case on September 24.
On September 26, the body was recovered in the water tank in the defendant’s apartment.
It took the Special Court five months and 24 days to complete the trial of the case and issue a judgment.
