The House Subcommittee on Issuing Government Efficiency (DOGE) was chaired by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), convened a hearing titled “Federal Foreclosure: Reducing the Federal Real Estate Portfolio.” Chairman Greene stressed that the federal government spends billions of dollars a year to maintain obsolete and underutilized office buildings.
