Smriti Mandhana script history, surpassing Harmanpreet Kaur to achieve this huge feat

Indian opener and left-handed batsman Smriti Mandhana made history by scoring her 11th century on women’s day cricket.

Indian women’s cricket team opener Smriti Mandhana just hit her 11th-century ODI century in a three-game final against Sri Lanka. She performed well, scoring 116 and hit several sixes in the process. Throughout the inning, she has participated in two partnerships with over 70 runs.

Apart from her century, Mandhana became six out of six in the women’s ODI, surpassing Harmanpreet Kaur, who has 53 six out of six in his career. She also ranked third, with the most in the women’s ODI, trailing only Meg Lanning of Australia (15) and Suzie Bates of New Zealand (13). Mandhana is now ahead of England’s Tammy Beaumont, who previously finished third.

As India’s leading century-maker of women’s ODI, Mandhana sets a high bar, while Mithali Raj is the second best, earning six hundred ODIs in the country. In her 102nd ODI, Mandhana accumulated an average of 4,473 runs, 46.59, and her name was 31 and a half centuries.

When India first hit the ball, Mandhana and Pratika Rawal (30) started slowly starting, managing just 14 times in the first five games. However, they quickly reached their pace, creating a solid 70-time campaign partnership for the first wicket before Rawal was out. Mandhana then teamed up with Harleen Deol to form an extraordinary 120 partnership for the second wicket, at which point Mandhana was particularly aggressive.

Although she took 55 goals to reach half a century, she was impressive, with only 46 goals for the next 66 goals. Eventually, she was rejected by Dewmi Vihanga in the 33rd inning, ending her situation with a 116-shot run.
