Social Attorney General Says Caste Enumeration Will Respect People Who Are Socially and Economically Deprived

The decision to enumerate caste in the upcoming census is a “historic” and “effective” measure to “respect the social and economic poor in the country, to make them self-reliant and capable” and is also a decisive step in the decision to achieve Babasaheb’s dream.

He added that this step would “strengthen the determination of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas”.

In a social media post on X, Mr. Kumar congratulated “sensitive” Prime Minister Narendra Modi on “ensure social justice”.

Mr Kumar said this would help bring social and economically deprived people to the mainstream, adding: “This decision will be a decisive step in realizing the dream of Dr. Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, through the ability to recognize social justice in the context of identity, needs and participation of each sector, to ensure social justice.”
