Soha Ali Khan said her brother, Saif Ali Khan, returned to work after recovering from injuries suffered in a knife attack at his residence in January.
Saif, 54, was attacked at his home in Bandra, Mumbai in the early hours of January 16. He was stabbed six times by the attacker and was later arrested. The actor was immediately hospitalized at Lilavati Hospital and underwent spinal and plastic surgery. He was discharged from the hospital on January 21.
“It disturbed us all. Our main focus is that he is good, he has done it, and now he is fully recovered and back to work. That’s our focus. Thank God, he is good,” Soha told PTI in an interview.
Next, Soha will be seen as an opponent in Chhorii 2, a sequel to the same title in 2021. Horror drama is the title of Nushrratt Bharuccha. Chhorii is a remake of director Vishal Furia’s 2017 Marathi film Lapachhapi, which revolves around an unborn pregnant woman whose unborn child targets evil spirits.
Chhorii 2 will be the story of Sakshi (Bharuccha) who stands out from the first film and bring back some key characters and introduce new fears. The sequel, produced by the T-series, Crypt TV and a wealth of Entertainment, will be released on Prime Video on April 11.
