Sourav Ganguly’s important judgment on the future of IPL 2025 during BCCI’s one-week suspension

Former BCCI president and Indian captain Sourav Ganguly sprinkled beans in the future of the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL), which was suspended for a week on May 9.
IPL 2025 will start on March 22 this year.
The Indian Cricket Control Council (BCCI) has suspended a week in the Indian Premier League (IPL) given the soaring tensions with Pakistan. Even the match between the King of Punjab (PBK) and the Delhi Capital (DC) (DC) was abandoned due to security issues. Now, the Indian Cricket Council will decide the future of IPL 2025 in a week, but former BCCI president and Indian captain Sourav Ganguly stepped up and sprinkled the Beans on the game’s restart date.
Pakistan won’t bear the pressure from India for a long time: Gangali
Speaking with reporters in Kolkata, Ganguly believes that the situation is expected to improve in the coming days as Pakistan will not be under pressure from India for a long time. “Yes, absolutely. BCCI will complete the IPL. This doesn’t last long. Pakistan will not be able to maintain India’s pressure for a long time. BCCI must do this (pause IPL). Chandigarh, Dharamsala, Delhi and Jaipur are some of the IPL’s venues – so the situation at BCCI takes BCCI a step forward. As time goes by, it doesn’t matter,’ he said.
