SP MP’s ‘traitor’ rhetoric on Rana Sanga, Sparks debate, details violence erupts here

Rana Sanga, also known as Sangram Singh I, was ruler of Mewar from 1508 to 1528, and was respected for his heroism and sacrifice. Samajwadi Party MP Ramji Lal Suman was severely attacked for his statement, and many demanded apology and action.
Violence broke out outside of living in SP MP Ramji Lal Suman in Agra on Wednesday due to controversial tomb of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb and Rana Sanga, King of Rajput, who invited Babur’s violent invitation.
Unidentified people turned to stone pants, breaking curtains and destroying vehicles parked outside his residence.
The mob allegedly claimed that the 16th-century Rajput King called Suman’s house outside Suman’s house, a “traitor” who allegedly brought Babur, the founder of the Mughal dynasty, to defeat Ibrahim Lodi.
Rana Sanga, also known as Sangram Singh I, was ruler of Mewar from 1508 to 1528, and was respected for his heroism and sacrifice.
Suman was severely attacked for his remarks, and many demanded apology and action.
BJP MP Grand Slam Ramji Lal Suman
Meanwhile, BJP MP Jagadambika Pal strongly condemned the statement issued by SP MP Ramji Lal Suman, saying it hurts the emotions of millions.
Parr stressed that public representatives should not make derogatory comments to respected individuals and criticized Suman’s party for not taking action against him.
“People’s statements were hurt. No public representative has the right to make a statement to a very respected person, his party has not even made notices of his performances, nor has he taken any action against him. These people are opposed to Sanatan Dharma every day, saying things that are disrespectful to great men.”
SP: Behind the Karni Sena Attack
Samajwadi Party MLA Ranjeet Suman claims the protesters belong to Karni Sena.
It is worth noting that Karni Sena’s Rajasthan unit has also announced a reward of Rs 5 lakh to anyone who has applied Suman’s face and hit him with his shoes.
SP MLA Ranjeet Suman said: “Since two days, people have threatened to come to the residence and attack us through social media. Today, they are here and a lot of people are attacked and injured.
Dimple Yadav: Government-planned vandalism
Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Dimple Yadav also claimed that the government planned the vandalism.
Dimple Yadav said: “If we see the situation in Uttar Pradesh, where the bomb explodes on the road, women are not safe. It is the responsibility of the government. If such an incident occurs, it is very unfortunate, it is very unfortunate. So what message do you want to send to the younger generation? The government should take strict action on this. This is the action taken by the government.”
Ramji Lal Suman clarifies the position
However, Ramji Lal Suman clarified that his intention was not to hurt anyone’s feelings.
He spoke to reporters and said: “I said in parliament that Rana Sanga invited Babar to defeat Ibrahim Lodi. My intention was not to hurt anyone’s religious sentiment. I may or may not believe in any religion, but there is no view of any other religious followers.”
He added: “My statements are neither against any caste nor against any class nor against any religion. I pay tribute to all who sacrifice their lives for the land of this country. My intention is not to hurt anyone’s feelings.”
Suman further said: “Babur came to India at the invitation of Rana Sanga. This is a historical fact. I have no intention of hurting anyone’s feelings. Every time, it is said that Indian Muslims have Babur in their DNA. Indian Muslims think Muhammad Saheb (Prophet Muhammad) is their ideal and follower and I feel uneasy about anyone.
“Ganga Jamuni culture is destroyed”
He further stated that Muslims were terrified in Uttar Pradesh.
Lal Suman said: “Our Ganges culture is being destroyed. Yogi Adityanath should understand that every religion spreads the message of love, not confrontation. Here, who is the one who dug the old grave? In the Stampede of Mahakumbh Muslims, the Muslims advance and help the victims.”
Akhilesh Yadav defends SP MP
SP head Akhilesh Yadav came out to defend the party’s MP Ramji Lal Suman and asserted that everyone, including the BJP leaders, is re-examining history. He pointed out that the BJP leaders wanted to debate Olanzeb, so Suman just turned to another page in history.
Yadav emphasizes that history was written 100-200 years ago, and that’s not where they changed it. He asked the BJP to avoid re-examining history, warning that doing so would lead to censorship of other historical events.
Akhilesh Yadav said: “Ramji Lal Suman said what he said because everyone is turning into historical pages. The BJP leaders wanted to debate the debate about Oranzb. So Ramji Lal Suman also turned the pages in history, which were written in places like that. We have not written 100-200 years of history.”
Akhilesh Yadav: BJP should not turn history pages
He further said: “I asked the BJP not to turn the history page because if this happens, then people will remember that when chhatrapati shivaji maharaj’s ’tilak”’ left foot, will the BJP apologize for this?”
