Student police cadets were at a mock parliamentary meeting in Tiruvanat County on Friday.
State Police Chief Shaik Darvesh Saheb officially announced the Student Police Craftsman (SPC) as anti-drug ambassadors on Friday.
The announcement was presented at the ongoing SPC State-level Leadership Summit in Thiruvananthapuram.
Mr. Sahib emphasized the key role students play in spreading awareness about the dangers of drug use. He stressed that collective efforts are crucial to effectively addressing the crisis as the country responds to growing social problems.
He added that Kerala police will soon launch a project aimed at assigning a dedicated police officer to every school in the state. These officials will serve as node officials in the ongoing anti-drug campaign.
Other police directors at the headquarters of S. Sreejith also participated in the function.
