On Wednesday night, gusts of wind up up a tree on the infantry road and injured a man passing by.

The tree was completely uprooted by the wind and fell onto the sidewalk. Officials said the man suffered a shoulder injury and was taken to Pauling Hospital.

Traffic changes were temporarily affected. Cut the branches and remove them from the roads and sidewalks.

The source said that despite multiple complaints, the BBMP has not taken action to prune or cut down aging trees. Several branches of the infantry road remain unstable, posing a threat to commuters and pedestrians, and shop owners on the road complained.

The BBMP Control Room reported the Three Tree Falls incident, as well as four incidents of falls across the city. Flooding was reportedly flooded on several roads in Belladel.
