The national meeting on Sunday said the only way to silence him is to restore Article 370 and stop “harassment of Muslims and minorities in the country”.
Ruhullah filed a charge in a 2009 case related to suspected tampering with tax records, Ruhullah, his family and other individuals were named.
He expressed shock on the charge sheet, saying there was no communication from authorities or investigators in the past two decades.
“These childish behaviors cannot force me to remain silent. From Article 370, I will remain silent, harassment and excessive harassment of Muslims and the minorities in this country. Such childish behaviors will prove counterproductive.”
He said the government should investigate the case by the NIA or any other central agency. “It’s an attempt to create intimidating scenarios like through CBI, NIA and ED. I’m not the one who succumbs to this kind of tantrum,” he said.
