SSC results: Telangana records 92.78% pass rate, Excel for girls

Telangana’s girl did it again. To prove her academic courage, the female student outperformed the boys in the 2025 public exam, and the results were announced Wednesday.
In the exams held from March 21 to April 3, 5,07,107 were registered candidates, including 10,733 private candidates. According to the government examination supervisor, the total candidates for regular candidates are 92.78%, while the pass rate for private candidates is 57.22%.

DGE’s listing report provides deeper insights into SSC performance this year. Of the 1,306 students with special needs who took the exam, 93.57% cleared them. Of the 11,554 schools in Telangana, 4,629 recorded a 100% pass rate.
The Mahabubabad region hits a high hit rate of 99.29%, while Vikarabad fell to the bottom at just 73.97%. Among the most candidates, Medchal (47,235 students) had a pass rate of 90.76%, Hyderabad (73,911) was 88.53%, and Ranga Reddy (51,671) was 87.84%.
The data also showed a clear moderate trend: students performed well in writing exams in English with a pass rate of 94.01%, followed by other regional languages ​​(92.21%), Urdu (87.72%) and Telugu (83.46%). English remains the primary option, with more than 435,000 students (nearly 88%) choosing as their medium of instruction.
Unlike in the past few years, in the trademark memorandum, DGE released the theme’s internal markings, external markings, total scores and overall results, as well as the theme’s results and theme ratings. Results only for extracurricular activities such as sports, value education and life skills, arts and culture, and work and computer education.
The SSC Advanced Supplementary Examination will be between June 3 and June 13, from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm, and is the last date for paying the required fees to the principal concerned is May 16.
Students can also apply for a score of Rs 500 per subject before directly at the DGE office in Hyderabad City on May 15.
DGE said students seeking to re-verify their subjects can apply online through their school principals, paying Rs 1,000 per subject. Revalidation involves recalculating the marks, checking that all answers have been evaluated and correctly documented, and evaluating any unmarked responses. Those who apply for reverification do not need to apply for a narrative separately.
