Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin welcomed the Supreme Court’s decision on Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi to be pending the bill passed by the state assembly, calling it “historic” and winning the victory of all state governments in the country.

Mr Stalin told Parliament that the Supreme Court ruled that Mr Stalin told Parliament shortly after the Supreme Court’s order.

“We reaffirm today’s historic judgment against the Supreme Court of Humble, reaffirm the legislative power of the state legislature and end the trend of the coalition government nominated governors, falling into progressive legislative reforms in the opposition-ruling state,” said the President DMK.

Earlier, the Supreme Court made a serious decline on Mr. Ravi and said that it was considered that the President’s 10 bills violated the constitution.

Justices JB Pardiwala and R. Mahadevan said that under Article 200 of the Constitution, the governor had no discretion and had to act compulsory to the aid and advice of the Council of Ministers.

The Chief Minister told the House that many bills that the General Assembly had sent it to the Governor after the General Assembly were returned by Mr. Ravi. They were reassembled and sent to him again.

Stalin said: “The Constitution requires the governor to ratify these bills for the second time, but he did not.

He said the Supreme Court accepted the debate from the state government and ruled that it must be regarded as the governor’s consent and made a historic judgment.

“This judgment is a victory for all state governments in India, not only Tamil Nadu, but also for all state governments in India,” Stalin said.

“This is another crucial step in restoring the balance of alliances and international relations and a landmark victory for Tamil Nadu in the ongoing struggle to usher in a true federal India. I congratulate the people of Tamil Nadu and our legal team,” the chief minister said in a social media post.

On many issues, the DMK and the governor have been volunteers.

The SC bench previously said that the governor could not refuse to agree and adopt the concept of absolute veto or bagged veto.

It said the governor is obliged to take a course of action – agree to the bill, reject and retain the president.

The bench said the bill reserved for the president was not open after the governor proposed to him for the second time.

It said the governor must agree to the bill before him in the second round, with the only exception being in case the bills in the second round were different from the first round.
