Byappanahalli police continued to investigate the angry attack involving call center employees and IAF officials and asked witnesses to record their statements. Police collected mobile clips of witness records and later stepped in and tried to resolve the situation.
Police charged WG after call center employee Vikas Kumar filed an anti-joint. CDR. shiladitya bose under various sections. On Monday, the two fought a fight near CV Raman Nagar.
WG. CDR. Bose has prosecuted Bose under Article 109 (Trying to Murder), 115 (2) (Voluntary Injury), 304 (Theft), 324 (Miscellaneous Crime), 352 (Intentional Insult, Intentional Insult with Intent to Provoke Peace).
Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar spoke with Mr Kumar on Wednesday and assured him of justice in the incident. JDS leader Nikhil Kumarswamy condemned the incident and provided support to Mr. Kumar.
Police have not yet questioned WG. CDR. Bose’s wife, also an IAF official, was driving a car and attending the incident.
